Since having my second child, not only is time to get pampered somewhat limited, but in trying to get my pre-baby body back, constantly lifting car seats in and out of cars, carrying toddlers (that were adamant that they were going to walk the WHOLE way round the park-but then changed their mind halfway round) – you get my drift; the number of injuries that seem to be creeping up on my ageing body are ever increasing! So imagine my delight when I stumbled across New Heights holistic and physiotherapy…..everything in one place! Time saving and saving my mind (and body).I can get pampered and have my injuries dealt with all under one roof!
So this week, our blog focus is on one of our business members…. Please meet New Heights Holistic and Physiotherapy!
Michael and Lynette opened New Heights Holistic and Physiotherapy in 2013, to combine their 20 years of experience and expertise in their fields and to be able to broaden the range of treatments and therapies available to help their clients.

Holistic massage has a host of benefits, aiming ultimately to restore the balance within the body. The treatment focuses on the person as a whole and not just the physical representation of symptoms, and works towards:
- ¥ Relieving tension and relaxing tight sore muscles.
- ¥ Improving skin, muscle tone and blood circulation.
- ¥ Relieving stiff joints.
- ¥ Reducing stress and anxiety.
- ¥ Aiding the digestion and lymphatic systems of the body.
Physiotherapy enables us to restore normal movement and reduce pain after a period of injury, illness and or disability. After an initial consultation and diagnosis, Michael will plan your treatment around your individual needs, in order that you are able to reach full functionality and movement without pain.
You may be offered a range of different techniques as part of this treatment such as:
- ¥ Hands on mobilisation/manipulation.
- ¥ Kinesiotaping/strapping.
- ¥ Podiatry.
- ¥ Acupuncture
- ¥ Sports massage
- ¥ Stregthening/stretching
- ¥ Ultrasound.
Taking their treatments out into the community is very much central to New Heights Holistic and Physiotherapy and their contributions to charity and local events are evidence of that. They attend the local arthritis society meetings, offering demonstrations and advice, amongst other things. As well as giving raffle prizes for local schools and fetes.
When you leave through the doors of New Heights Holistic and Physiotherapy, you can guarantee that you will be walking your way to a refreshed, relaxed and better you. It is important that we take good care of our bodies. They undergo a great deal of wear and tear throughout our lifetime. Take care of it and it will take good care of you!
