Over the past few months we’ve been scouring the depths of the internet looking at ideas for kids bedrooms. We’ve found enough ideas to fill about 50 blog posts and even though we don’t like to admit it we’ve become a little obsessive. This blog looks at just some of our favourites and focusses on minimal DIY efforts. If there’s not enough to get you inspired don’t fear i’m sure there will be a version 2 and 3 and 4 and ……
#1 Bunk Up
Bunkbeds are a staple of any room where you have more than one of your little angels sleeping. Be savvy and get a version with some storage stairs like this one from Belvis Furniture
#2 Bring Out The Bunting
In a year when the Queen turns 90 there is no better way to celebrate than bringing out the bunting. A staple in many kids rooms and a simple and easy way to add some personality.
#3 Put Up A Play Tent
We love this beautiful Fairy Cottage Play tent from Canvas and Willow. Make sure you check out their boys ranges as well – perfect for hours of inside fun!
#4 Stack Up Some Storage
Using storage unit as a bench is genius if you ask us (we love multi tasking), take some inspiration from this ikea hack as seen on Shelterness.com
#5 Decorate and Display
Take your child’s collection and make it a feature, we love these Lego storage display cases from A Place For Everything. Perfect for all those mini figures you step on a night.
#6 Wack Up Some Washi
Ok so those of you who know us will be aware of our obsession with washi tape, mainly because it is just awesome! Use it to decorate an empty wall without altering the paintwork like this amazing monster truck as seen on Remodelaholic.com
